1. What length of device is suited for my application?

With the length needed in the device we always state for example if you have a 9m wall we would offer a 10m device as once the product is mounted to the anchor point then there should be more than 1m remaining inside the device. If you are unsure which device is best suited please do not hesitate to contact us.

2. What device should I use for a ‘Stairway to Heaven’ application

With the ‘Stairway to Heaven’ application we would supply either a Climb, Carbon or Compact Autobelay with a second swivel around 1m up from the first where the carabiner is to connect to the user. The second swivel higher up helps provide a smoother turning motion when in use.

3. What should I do if I am unsure which device is suited for my application?

4. What is the difference between the Climb & the Carbon Autobelay?

The Climb Autobelay and the Carbon Autobelay are the same except for their external casing as the Climb variant is made of aluminium whereas the Carbon variant is made of composite. The Carbon variant is lighter and is a cheaper option.

5. What product is recommended for mobile climbing walls

For mobile climbing walls we would recommend the Compact variant and the Carbon Variant as they are both light and make them easier to attach to the walls anchoring point. The product type needed all depends on the anchoring mount on your wall.

6. How long is the service period on Autobelays?

All the devices including the Autobelays are required to undertake a yearly service to help maintain the products lifespan. This period may be shorter depending on if the product is under high use, where it may have to be undertaken every six months.

7. Do you offer discounts if products are purchased as a bundle?

We always offer the best possible support and would provide discounts if products are purchased as a bundle. For example if someone required some harnesses, belay gates and autobelays. If you are planning on purchasing in a bundle if you could please contact us we can work out the best possible cost for you.
